We Are Smarter Than Me: How the Wisdom of Crowds Can Help Businesses Succeed – Knowledge@Wharton Annotated
- Online communities can change the way businesses create and sell their products, often dramatically. In this collection of mini-case studies, the author of a new book shows how the wisdom of crowds can help organizations solve problems and innovate. I love the example of P&G’s print-on-a-potato-chip problem!
Dear Mr. Gillin,
I am an info freak who loves to read about anything interesting whether books, newspapers and of course, web materials. Sadly, after the birth of my daughter who has a medical condition, my time for reading and finding out something new has been greatly affected. Moreover, new priorities now limit our capacity to purchase things unrelated to my daughter.
Anyway, I just wish to tell you how great it is to find someone who has passion to read and write about things that are more than consumerist fare. Thanks for your good efforts, I am able to share in your passion.
Best.

What a nice message! I’ll try to keep them coming. I keep all of my bookmarks at https://www.diigo.com/user/pgillin and you’re welcome to peruse them at any time.
Welcome, po!
Will be trying to find out how I can get hold of your book, New Influencers. I could order it online but I have to find out first who from among my US contacts will be coming home to deliver it to me in time for Christmas.
Best.
